Turkish chief of general staff to visit Azerbaijan

Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs.
As part of the visit, a commemoration ceremony will be held at the Turkish and Azerbaijani Martyrs' Alleys to mark the 107th anniversary of the arrival of the Caucasian Islamic Army under the command of Nuri Pasha in Baku and the liberation of the city from Bolshevik occupation.
Earlier, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, said Bayraktaroglu's visit is expected to further strengthen ties between the armed forces of the two countries.
