Tree-planting campaign held on occasion of Day of Remembrance

On the eve of the second anniversary of the Patriotic War, a tree-planting campaign, jointly organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, was held in Mushfigabad settlement on September 27 as a sign of respect for Azerbaijan’s martyrs, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.

Over 1,000 Eldar pines and olive trees were planted at the event with the participation of representatives of both ministries and Absheron District Executive Power, ANAMA employees, families of martyrs, and citizens who lost their health in the war.

The memory of Azerbaijan’s martyrs was commemorated with tree planting campaigns in other regions.
