Supreme Commander-in-Chief: Creation of Commando Brigade is novelty for Azerbaijan

"Commando forces and representatives of the new military division are located in this military unit in Hadrut. The creation of a commando brigade is a novelty for us," President Ilham Aliyev said during the opening of a new military unit in Hadrut on December 24, Report informs.

"Emphasizing that the commando brigades will be able to perform any military duty, the head of state said: Our children, who are highly trained, have shown the high will and are ready to sacrifice themselves for the Motherland, will serve in these brigades. This will significantly increase our military strength."

The President noted that there would be many such brigades, and thus the Azerbaijani Army will continue to maintain its professionalism and high morale.
