ICRC representatives visit Azerbaijani citizens detained in Armenia

Today, the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited two recently detained Azerbaijani citizens in Yerevan.
The Baku office of the ICRC told Report that a one-on-one meeting was held with them and they were given the opportunity to contact their families through a Red Cross Letter.
"In accordance with its mandate, the ICRC assesses the treatment and conditions of detention of detainees during visits and facilitates the restoration or continuation of contact with their families. In accordance with ICRC procedures, observations and recommendations regarding visits are shared only with the detaining party," ICRC said.
