Georgian minister: Stable Azerbaijan is vital for regional security

Developed and stable Azerbaijan is vital for the region's security, Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze, who is on an official visit to Baku, said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, Juansher Burchuladze spoke about Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili's "Peaceful Neighborhood" initiative.

The Georgian minister thanked Ilham Aliyev for his strong support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Formats of bilateral and trilateral defense cooperation were discussed at the meeting. The minister drew attention to the positive dynamics of Georgia's relations with Azerbaijan in defense and called the Azerbaijani-Turkish-Georgian cooperation a successful unique format.
