Azerbaijani pilot at Anatolian Eagle-2025: Goal is to learn other countries' tactics, techniques

The goal is to demonstrate the capabilities of the aircraft in the Anatolian Eagle-2025 exercise, Lieutenant Colonel Elchin Rafiyev, a military pilot representing Azerbaijan at the exercise, said in a statement to Report.

Rafiyev said that the goal is also to learn the tactics of other countries and master the rules for using their equipment.

According to him, each country participating in the exercise demonstrates the capabilities of its aircraft:

"After the 2020 Patriotic War, in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, our Armed Forces switched to the model of the Turkish Armed Forces and their experience is being studied. After that, we have been regularly conducting joint exercises with them. Theoretical and practical training is used in the exercises. Our goal is to further develop our techniques by doing the work."

"After the war, our arsenal has been enriched. Such exercise is important to both learn and apply new modernization. Because we are improving our forces by using new weapons," the pilot with the Order of Karabakh emphasized.
