Azerbaijan, Türkiye's Baykar discuss expanding defense industry cooperation

Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev has met with Baykar Chairman Selcuk Bayraktar, who is on a working visit to the country, and Türkiye's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Industry.

The meeting emphasized that strategic allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are developing successfully in all areas, including the defense industry.

It was noted that further expanding cooperation with Baykar is of particular importance for the development of Azerbaijan's defense industry.

The ministry said the joint projects being implemented make an important contribution to strengthening the existing partnership between the two countries.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on expanding military-technical cooperation, applying innovative technologies and other issues of mutual interest.
