Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss military information cooperation

A meeting was held in Baku between representatives of the Press and Public Relations Department of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense and the Strategic Communications and Public Relations Department of Georgia's Ministry of Defense.
According to Report, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, the guests were first given detailed information about the activities of the Press and Public Relations Department.
Particular attention was paid to operational information support during the 44-Day Patriotic War, which ended with the victory of the Azerbaijani Army, as well as during antiterror and other combat operations, and to measures taken to counter disinformation.
Briefings were then presented on the Ministry of Defense's information, communications and public relations strategy, management of official social media platforms and work with citizens' appeals.
The sides exchanged detailed views on the organization of strategic communications and information activities and discussed prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of military information.
As part of the visit, the Georgian delegation also familiarized itself with the activities of the Military Publishing House, the editorial office of the Azerbaijan Army newspaper and the Multimedia Center.
