Uzbekistan proposes initiatives to expand media co-op with Azerbaijan

Uzbekistan is proposing a number of initiatives to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the media sector, Dilshod Saidjanov, head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, said at the 2nd Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum in Baku, Report informs.

These include the creation of joint series, documentaries, and multimedia content about the culture, history, and prominent figures of the Turkic peoples; the exchange of educational programs to improve media literacy; and the creation of a joint platform based on artificial intelligence, specifically for automated translation and content production.

"Azerbaijan has demonstrated how this can be done in recent years. We are ready to adopt this experience and share ours to unlock the rich cultural heritage of our two peoples. The content created will be broadcast in Uzbekistan," Saidjanov added.
