Brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are widely reflected in the social life of both countries, while Turkish media also make a significant contribution to strengthening their friendly relations, Haber Global presenter Sayan Fatima Dilara told Report in Tashkent.
She noted that the Turkish television channel closely follows developments in both countries.
"We, at Haber Global, follow all events in Azerbaijan and Türkiye in real time. Whatever happens in Azerbaijan, we promptly report it as breaking news. The same approach applies to events in Türkiye," she said on the sidelines of the International Media Forum in Tashkent.
According to Dilara, Azerbaijan and Türkiye can no longer be viewed as two separate countries.
"We are brothers. Every step we take, every step Azerbaijan takes and every voice that is heard receives a huge response in both countries," the presenter said.
She emphasized that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is developing across all areas, with close interaction also established between the two countries' media outlets.
"Especially recently, this interaction has intensified. Establishing a strong communication channel is of great importance," Dilara said.
According to her, the media connect the societies of the two countries.
"Media have always been a bridge between the two countries. And we are two brotherly states that are very good at building this bridge," the Haber Global representative added.
Speaking about the International Media Forum in Tashkent, Dilara highlighted the event's importance for studying and promoting Uzbekistan's history and Islamic heritage.
"Uzbekistan occupies a very important place in world and Islamic history. The fact that renowned journalists and representatives of leading media groups have gathered here is very significant," she said.
Dilara added that the global audience should be told more about Uzbekistan's historical heritage and the work being carried out in the country to study and preserve it.
