Turkish TV channel Haber Global has prepared an extensive story on the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Türkiye's Kahramanmaraş, Report informs.

The story notes that after the opening ceremony of the "Azerbaijan" quarter, the leaders of the two countries visited the home of a family affected by the earthquake, talked with family members and inspected newly built houses from the balcony.

As part of the visit, the Heydar Aliyev Primary School was also visited. The channel's story emphasizes that teachers and students sang the song "Cirpinirdin Gara Deniz" ("The Black Sea Raged") at the educational institution, and the poem read by one of the students was remembered for its touching moments. One of the most notable parts of the story was the scene with ice cream.

Haber Global notes that Erdogan offered Ilham Aliyev traditional Marash ice cream. After the president of Azerbaijan accepted the ice cream, he cut it himself in accordance with tradition.

The channel presents this gesture as a sincere display of friendship between the leaders of the two countries. During President Ilham Aliyev's speech, the crowd chanted slogans "Conqueror of Karabakh."

Haber Global commented on these scenes as an indicator of the leader's authority and the strength of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations.
