Georgian journalists and bloggers visit Shusha

Georgian journalists and bloggers have visited the city of Shusha in Azerbaijan.

According to a Report correspondent assigned to Shusha, the visitors first arrived at the building of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha.

The media representatives were briefed on the city's history, cultural monuments and the battles fought for Shusha's liberation from occupation.

The guests also viewed the bullet-riddled busts of prominent Azerbaijani figures.

The media representatives then visited the remains of the palace complex of poetess Khurshidbanu Natavan. They were informed about her life and literary work, as well as the former and current condition of her house museum.

During their visit, the guests also toured Shusha Fortress. After visiting the fortress, they took a commemorative photo in front of its walls with the Azerbaijani and Georgian flag bearers.

The delegation also visited the Govhar Agha Mosque.

The visit concluded at Jidir Plain. The media representatives' next destination is the city of Ganja.
