Azerbaijani journalists visited the Media Content Preparation Center under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan as part of a media tour of the country.
According to Report's correspondent in Tashkent, the center was the first stop on the Azerbaijani journalists' tour.
During the visit, participants were briefed on the center's activities, including efforts to develop Uzbekistan's media landscape, support media outlets, improve the professional skills of journalists and bloggers, train young specialists and modern media managers, and implement new media projects.
The center also supports the professional development of press services at government institutions, public-interest media projects and international cooperation in the media sector.
Particular attention was paid to the center's educational programs, including seminars, practical sessions, master classes, media weeks and media forums for journalists and bloggers. Participants gain practical skills in content creation, media management, the use of modern technologies, work with digital platforms and audience engagement.
The journalists were also introduced to several projects implemented by the center, including the Debyut project which supports young people interested in blogging and helps them develop skills in producing high-quality video content.
The School of Mobile Journalism focuses on mobile video production and the creation of media content using modern digital tools.
The In Short project delivers current news to audiences quickly, objectively and concisely through social media, providing users with a reliable source of information.
Journalists were also presented with Aura.uz, a specialized platform that brings together information resources in a single database containing text, photo, video, audio and infographic materials. The platform enables users to search, analyze and efficiently use the collected content.
The center said such projects are aimed at strengthening the professional capacity of media workers, producing high-quality and socially relevant content, and helping media outlets adapt to modern digital technologies and changing ways of engaging with audiences.
