UN official comments on upcoming Karabakh meeting in Washington

The UN supports any diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and contributing to the resumption of negotiations under the OSCE Minsk group's auspices co-chairs. UN Spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said, commenting on the upcoming meetings of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Report says.
Stéphane Dujarric recalled that since the first day of the conflict's escalation, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had maintained contacts with both countries' foreign ministers.
"One of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will also attend the meeting in Washington."
