Ukrainian Congress of Azerbaijan calls for end to Armenian revanchism

The Ukrainian Congress of Azerbaijan (UCA) expressed support for Azerbaijan regarding the recent provocations committed by the Armenian armed forces on the border with Azerbaijan and called Armenia a country provocateur, Report informs.

The UCA statement says that for 30 years, the international community had been unable or unwilling to distinguish between the aggressor and the victim of the aggressor.

“The persistence with which the revanchist forces inside the neighboring country, encouraged by the European and American Armenian diasporas, strive to live in a mythologized parallel world is surprising,” reads the statement.

Azerbaijan has gone a long and difficult path from a post-Soviet country in the early 90s to a steadily developing digital economy in 30 years, the UCA points out, expressing regret that the leaders of many countries are trying to lay responsibility equally on both the aggressor - Armenia, and Azerbaijan, which was attacked.

“Unfortunately, due to the fault of revanchist Armenia, the Azerbaijani people are periodically forced to pay a very high price - human lives - for sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the statement says.

“But our people will not deviate from the path of dignity and freedom! Today, the people of Azerbaijan, headed by the Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, are united as never before,” it says.

The signatories of the statement expressed their deep condolences to the families and friends of the martyrs who died in the recent clashes on the border.
