'The whole world has come to see you': Diplomats share warm moment with children in Shusha

An impromptu meeting with children became one of the most memorable moments of the diplomatic corps" visit to Shusha on Friday.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan met with young residents of the city"s First Residential Quarter, according to Report"s correspondent.

The children chatted with the diplomats about the countries they liked, joked with the visitors and eagerly answered their questions. The diplomats, in turn, were happy to engage with the young residents and even spoke to them in Azerbaijani, much to the children"s surprise.

Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department for Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, also joined the conversation.

"The whole world has come to see you," Hajiyev told the children.

The warm conversation between the children and diplomats became a memorable episode of the visit to Shusha, adding a particularly heartfelt touch to the official trip.
