Shusha hosts conference on demining

A conference on demining has started in Shusha, Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The event is jointly organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA).
During the event, the participants will exchange experiences in demining, discuss the promotion of gender inclusion by creating the first women's demining teams in Azerbaijan, as well as the potential greater involvement of NGOs in demining work.
The project is expected to strengthen and increase ANAMA's institutional capacity in strategy and data management.
