Second day of diplomats' visit to Azerbaijans Karabakh, East Zangazur begins

The second day of the visit to Karabakh and East Zangazur by members of the foreign diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan has begun.

According to Report's correspondent in Karabakh, 150 participants representing 58 countries and 9 international organizations are taking part in the trip.

The visit is being conducted under the guidance of Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.

During the trip, diplomats will be introduced to large-scale reconstruction and development projects in Aghdara and Kalbajar districts led by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

They will also be briefed on social and economic infrastructure projects, the condition of historical and cultural heritage sites, and ongoing efforts for their preservation and restoration.

This marks the 22nd visit of the diplomatic corps to Azerbaijan's liberated territories since 2020.
