Sajjad Karim hails great progress in restoration of liberated territories

There is great progress in the work on the restoration of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Report informs with reference to Sajjad Karim, a former member of the European Parliament.
"This is my second visit to the liberated territories - the first was to Fuzuli eight months ago when the work was essentially just beginning. Today, after so much time, I can see with my own eyes the huge progress in the construction and how the security situation has changed. I hope that soon we will be able to see how these territories of Azerbaijan develop further," S. Karim said.
According to him, the UK can provide support to Azerbaijan on this issue.
Today the participants in the international conference "Humanitarian activity on demining and goals of sustainable development" visited Aghdam liberated from the Armenian occupation.
From March 31 to April 1, with the joint organizational support of the Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Mine Action (ANAMA) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), a hybrid event on the theme "Humanitarian demining and sustainable development goals" is being held, which brought together about 120 participants in total from 30 countries of the world, including 20 officials of structures specialized in the field of demining from the UK, Serbia, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Angola, Cambodia, Jordan, Sudan, etc.
