"Azerbaijan's liberation of its lands could significantly change the balance of power in the region," political scientist Gleb Parfenov, head of the department at Ukrainian's Doctrine Center for Political Studies, told Report.
"The situation is changing very fast. It is too early to say how many more settlements the Azerbaijani Army can liberate. However, this operation was more effective than in 2016. As for the comments from the world community, they make sense. Most countries are in favor of freezing the conflict because other options mean supporting one of the parties. This can have negative consequences for countries with influential Armenian and Azerbaijani diasporas," the expert said.
