The trip of a delegation of famous travelers from 21 countries to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan has begun. During the trip, foreign travelers will get acquainted with the historical and cultural monuments in these territories, as well as with the destruction committed by the Armenians during the occupation. They will also be able to see how these lands are being restored after liberation.
As Report informs, French photojournalist of Azerbaijani origin Reza Deghati showed the travelers photographs taken by him in Aghdam.
"There is a city of Khojaly 15 miles from here. On February 26, during the first Karabakh war, the Armenians entered this city and massacred women, children and the elderly," he said.
He noted that the winter in Khojaly was severe, the air temperature reached minus 10 degrees. Many residents of Khojaly, who fled to the forest, died from the cold.
Deghati also spoke about events he witnessed.
