Putin: Conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh has been stopped

"With Russia’s landmark contribution, the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh was stopped," said Russian President Vladimir Putin in his greeting to the participants of the Ninth Moscow Conference on International Security.
"Russian peacekeepers guarantee peace and security in the region and do a lot to improve the humanitarian situation, demining territories and restoring social infrastructure," the Russian President said.
According to him, Russia never forgets the responsibility that it bears for the security of neighboring countries and intends to keep contributing to the de-escalation of regional conflicts, "strengthening peace and stability on our common continent."
