Difficult internal political processes are taking place in Armenia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his address to the nation and a large press conference with journalists, Report informs.
“Difficult processes related to Karabakh are taking place in Armenia. But we weren’t the ones who abandoned Karabakh. It was Armenia that recognized that Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan. And we were not informed that they were preparing to make such a decision. It’s a fact.
I don’t think that it is in Armenia’s interests to terminate its membership in the CIS, EurAsEC, and CSTO. Ultimately, it is still the state's (Armenia’s) choice,” Putin said.
