Presidential envoy: SDG-based housing districts undr construction in Karabakh and East Zangazur

New residential districts in Azerbaijan's liberated territories - East Zangazur and Karabakh - are being constructed in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts Vahid Hajiyev said during an event held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

According to Report, Vahid Hajiyev stated that the main objective is to create safe, sustainable, and livable conditions for residents returning to the liberated territories.

"The ongoing projects include the villages of Aghali, Horovlu, and others. They were completely destroyed during the occupation. Today, we are building new smart cities and villages under a new development model in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals," he noted.
