"We do not wish to involve any third country and do not see any involvement because the countries around us are our partners and friends," President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the German TV channel ARD on October 28.
"We know that the Armenians want to involve some of them in this battle, but I am sure it will not happen. This is a fight between us and Armenia, and everyone must stay away from it. Turkish soldiers can be here, yes. Last year we held ten joint military exercises. But we also have a lot of training with other countries. We are part of NATO's Partnership for Peace. There is nothing strange here. You saw them in Baku, but you did not see them in battle," the head of state added.
