Defense Ministry: Azerbaijani Army does not use prohibited ammunition

Head of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Huseyn Mahmudov, during his interview with TASS, said that the Azerbaijani army does not use prohibited weapons during counter-offensive operation.

"I answer clearly: no way; we do not use prohibited types of weapons."

On September 27, the Armenian armed forces carried out a large-scale provocation and intensively fired positions of the Azerbaijani army on the front line from large-caliber weapons, mortars, and artillery of various calibers. To suppress Armenian's combat activity and ensure the civilian population's safety, the command of the Azerbaijan Army decided to launch a counter-offensive operation of our troops along the entire front.
