"2020 was a difficult year for the world in terms of education, including Azerbaijan. We had to discontinue classes in more than 1,000 schools due to the Armenian aggression," Education Minister Emin Amrullayev said at a briefing on the organization of classes in educational establishments amid the special quarantine regime.
Report quotes the minister as saying that strict quarantine has been applied in the country since December 14.
"The Ministry of Education can not decide on the activities of educational institutions alone," he noted.
