Joe Biden calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to resume talks

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden expressed concern over the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and called for a ceasefire, Report says, citing the politician's headquarters.
"I am deeply concerned about the violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and call for an immediate reduction in tensions, the restoration of the ceasefire, and the continuation of talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said.
According to him, the United States should insist on increasing the number of observers along the contact line. Moreover, official Washington should consider aid programs to ensure that no weapons are used for offensive purposes.
