Leyla Abdullayeva: "Armenian President lied"

"The Armenian president Armen Sarkissian distorted the truth in an interview with RBC TV. He lied about the history, demography, and economic situation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region."
Report informs, Spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva wrote on Twitter.
"He claimed that more than 1 million Armenians left Azerbaijan in the late 1980s. Fact: According to the 1989 census, 390,505 Armenians lived there," she said.
