German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Wolfgang Manig has called for compliance with the provisions of the trilateral statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia, Report informs.
“One year after the cessation of hostilities, I encourage all Azerbaijanis and Armenians to overcome decades of mistrust and hatred. The Trilateral Declaration obliges to reconciliation and cross-border cooperation,” he tweeted.
On November 10 last year, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a statement on a complete ceasefire and end to all hostilities in the conflict zone. Thus, the long-lasting Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict came to an end.
