Georgian journalist: Looking forward to visiting Karabakh

Visits by Georgian media representatives and bloggers to Azerbaijan help strengthen mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries, Imedi TV journalist Tika Tsereteli told journalists in Baku on Tuesday.

According to Report, speaking about the upcoming visit of a Georgian media delegation to Azerbaijan's Karabakh region, she said it would be her first time visiting Karabakh and that she was looking forward to the trip.

"We will prepare some very interesting material in Baku and will also visit Karabakh. I'm looking forward to this trip," Tsereteli said.

The journalist stressed the importance of such visits in strengthening people-to-people ties.

"Such visits play an important role in bringing people together because they allow us to learn more about each other's culture. For example, I will be able to learn more about your culture and return to my country with new impressions," she added.
