Georgian journalist: I am impressed by reconstruction efforts in Karabakh

Dato Liklikadze, a host at Georgian radio station Dzweli Kalaki ('Old City'), highly praised the construction and reconstruction work underway in Karabakh during his visit to the region.

According Report's correspondent from Khankandi, Liklikadze noted that this was his second visit to Karabakh.

"Three years ago, while in Shusha, I looked down at Khankandi from above and said that one day I would visit this city. My wish has come true," he said.

The journalist said that he also visited Aghdam during the trip, where the ongoing revival of the city made a strong impression on him. "We witnessed the construction of a very beautiful and modern city. The infrastructure in Khankendi, the new stadium and the wonderful hotels impressed me," he said.

Liklikadze also noted that the participants in the visit climbed to the Victory Arch and toured the museum located there.

The journalist emphasized that large-scale work is currently underway in Karabakh and that the region is rapidly being rebuilt and developed.
