"For a lasting ceasefire, both sides must be committed to it. We are committed to that," President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the Turkish Haber Global TV channel.
"We observed the ceasefire, which came into force at noon, but when we saw that Armenia was violating it, of course, we could not remain silent. We also have to defend ourselves, and thus the ceasefire came into force, but it did not happen in real life, "he noted.
