The steps taken by Armenia in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan are wrong, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Report informs referring to the Turkish media.
"We do not approve of this, this is unacceptable," the Turkish leader said.
He noted that he was going to hold talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on September 11.
"We will warn them in connection with this issue, and make it clear that these elections [held by the so-called "regime" in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan] are absolutely unacceptable. None of the heads of state with whom I have already met recognizes them," Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed.
