"Armenia has pursued a policy of ethnic cleansing against our people. Hundreds of mosques and temples were destroyed in the occupied territories. Even they turned mosques into stables and kept animals forbidden in Islam.
Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), told, Report informs.
According to him, the Armenian Church's head issued an inappropriate statement to the cleric: "Their expectations to turn the war into a Christian-Muslim phase did not work.
