European Council President Charles Michel contributes to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, head of the EU Azerbaijan office, Ambassador Peter Michalko told a press conference, as quoted by Report.

European Council President Charles Michel assists the peacebuilding efforts between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the ultimate goal of this initiative is to establish stability and peace in the region, Michalko said.

He went on to say that the EU cooperates with ANAMA in demining issues by assisting demining projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan through UNDP.
