The upper part of Karabakh cannot exist as a separate territorial unit, Report informs, citing Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu.
"By the way, the economic regions of Azerbaijan were confirmed on July 7 of this year. Among them is the Karabakh region, which includes the city of Khankandi, the Agjabadi, Aghdam, Barda, Fuzuli, Khojaly, Khojavand, Shusha, and Tartar regions and the East Zangazur, which covers the Jabrayil, Kalbajar, Gubadli, Lachin, and Zangilan districts. Therefore, Nagorno Karabakh cannot exist as a separate unit," he said.
According to the ambassador, the Azerbaijani side has repeatedly said at the highest level that there is no such territorial unit in the country as 'Nagorno-Karabakh.'
