Azerbaijan thwarts Armenian provocation towards Gazakh region

The Armenian Armed Forces continue to commit provocations at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.

Since 11:45 am on March 13, the military units of the hostile army have intensively fired at residential houses and civilian vehicles in Gazakh region’s Abbasbeyli village using large-caliber weapons from their positions near Berkaber, Lalagukh and Sevkar villages of Armenia’s Ijevan region.

The Azerbaijani side prevented the provocation, silencing the enemy with retaliatory fire, the State Service Center told Report.

Azerbaijani border checkpoints control the operational situation.
