Armenian leadership covering up real COVID-19 figures

"Today, Armenia is in a dire situation because of the negligent policy pursued by the country's leadership. They are hiding the coronavirus figures from their citizens."

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, made the remarks Tuesday at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, Report says.

"While begging for help, they oppose the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev to convene a special session of the UN General Assembly. In this way, Armenia is revealing its true nature," Hajiyev stressed.

So far, Armenia has confirmed over 25,000 COVID-19 cases, nearly 450 related deaths.
