"The shelling of civilians and populated areas of Azerbaijan by Armenia is entirely unacceptable," orientalist-Turkologist Yuri Mavashev told the Russian Bureau of Report.
"Such actions aggravate the problem. As I know, the Mingachevir reservoir has been fired upon for the second time in the last 48 hours. It is pure provocation. The firing of medium - range missiles by Armenia is already a confirmed fact. And this is unacceptable," he stated.
Notably, due to the Armenian armed forces' attacks on cities of Azerbaijan, 27 civilians were killed, while 141 wounded.
Moreover, 63 objects and 376 residential buildings were seriously damaged.
