ANAMA finds 3,042 mines in liberated areas in August

The Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) has announced the number of mines detected in the liberated territories last month, Report informs.
According to ANAMA, 2,353 antipersonnel mines, 689 anti-tank mines (3,042 in total), and 1,131 unexploded ordnance were found and neutralized during mine clearance operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan on August 1-31.
As a result, 5,523.74 hectares were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
