Ambassador: EU supports demining activities in Karabakh

The EU supports demining activities in the liberated Azerbaijani territories, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko said at ADA University during an event dedicated to the activities of the Eastern Partnership program, Report informs.
The European Union supports both Azerbaijan and Armenia in a post-conflict situation. The EU is cooperating for the sake of peace and stability in the region. Through UNDP, the EU has allocated funds to the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) for demining in the liberated territories and the Union intends to continue to support this process, Michalko said.
