AFFA to transfer part of income from ticket sale to Karabakh Revival Fund

The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) will transfer 10 percent of the revenue from the sale of tickets for the Azerbaijan-Portugal game to the Karabakh Revival Fund, AFFA told Report.
Based on an agreement between AFFA and the Karabakh Revival Fund, 10 percent of the income from all home matches of the Azerbaijani national team will be donated to the Fund within the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification starting with the Azerbaijan-Portugal game.
The donated funds will be used to restore and develop the football infrastructure in the territories liberated from the occupation.
The Azerbaijan-Portugal match will take place on September 7 at the Baku Olympic Stadium at 20:00 (GMT+4).
