WUF13 participants encouraged to make sustainable choices

Participants of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) have been encouraged to make sustainable choices during the event.

Report informs that WUF13 Azerbaijan said this in a post on X.

"Sustainable urban living starts with the choices we make every day," the post said.

Participants were encouraged to use resources responsibly, sort waste properly, choose digital solutions where possible, save energy and water, and use public transport whenever possible.

WUF13 Azerbaijan noted that small actions can help shape more sustainable cities and communities.

WUF13 will be held in Baku on May 17-22. The forum is being organized as part of Azerbaijan's close cooperation with the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and is aimed at exchanging international experience in sustainable urban development, smart cities and innovative urban solutions.
