WUF13 discusses land resource management in urban development

An event titled "Public Property Management: A Land-Based Strategy in Urban Development" was held in Baku as part of WUF13.
Report informs that the meeting discussed the role of public land and public property in urban planning policy, reducing social inequality and building sustainable cities.
During the discussions, Brazil's experience was cited, where public land policy is aimed at protecting public interests, improving housing provision and developing urban infrastructure.
It was noted that effective management of public land helps reduce socio-economic disparities in cities and increase the resilience of the urban environment.
