WUF13 calls on international community to unite to build cities of future

The global community should consolidate efforts to build the cities of the future.

Report informs that Mustapha Njie, CEO of TAF Africa Global, a leading African real estate and construction company specializing in affordable and modern housing across the continent, made the statement during the panel session titled "Developer Coalition for the Promotion of Productive Partnerships in the Global South, and Preliminary Presentation of the CAHF Housing Finance Yearbook 2025/2026," held as part of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

"It is extremely important for the global community of builders and investors to pool their resources and expertise to overcome the housing crisis in the Global South. The challenges related to urbanization, infrastructure shortages and climate vulnerability are too large to tackle alone. When we build together and demonstrate that public-private partnership can not only exist but also thrive in the Global South, we create not just cities - we shape the future," Njie stressed.
