Vladimir Denisov: Baku–Shymkent cooperation holds great prospects

Close cooperation between Baku (Azerbaijan) and Shymkent (Kazakhstan) holds great prospects, said Vladimir Denisov, Director of Shymkent International Terminal LLC, according to Report's correspondent in Shymkent.

Denisov noted that today Shymkent city and Shymkent airport are opening new gateways to Southeast Asia, Russian regions, and Middle Eastern countries:

"The bridge between Shymkent and Baku – the link between Shymkent Airport's passenger terminal and Heydar Aliyev International Airport – is a crucial chain in the cooperation between the two states. Such close cooperation is formed only between structures with long-term experience in friendship and partnership. The cooperation between our two major cities will not only be restored but will also have great future prospects. Tourism also plays an important role in the activities of both our structures. That is why representatives of our region's tourism sector are present here today. We also see significant progress on your side, so we hope tourism activities will expand widely here," Denisov emphasized.
