US says ready to oversee management of the Zangazur corridor

The US has indicated its readiness to take control of the Zangazur corridor, US Ambassador to Türkiye, Tom Barrack, stated in his statement to journalists in New York, Report informs via Middle East Eye.

According to the diplomat, the US has offered to take over the management of the 32-kilometer Zangazur corridor for 100 years.

"Thus, both sides will be able to use this corridor," the ambassador emphasized.

Tom Barrack also noted that the main purpose of this proposal is to help advance diplomatic negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
