Azerbaijan has extensive experience in urban planning and strengthening local economies, said Denise Bax, Head of Communications, Cities and Events at UNESCO.
According to Report, Bax made the remarks during the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13).
She emphasized that culture is a key driver of development, noting that creative communities form the foundation of future cities and urbanism.
"These communities must demonstrate resilience to the changes taking place in the cities of the future. In this sense, we see that Azerbaijan has extensive experience in planning and strengthening local economies. Our goal is to consolidate such experience, exchange knowledge, and present a unified UN approach," she said.
