UNECE: Housing policy reform in Ukraine being carried out at national, local levels

Housing policy reform in Ukraine is being implemented at both the national and local levels, Thamara Fortes, head of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Ukraine Program, said at WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
According to her, one of the key achievements was the adoption of a law on the fundamental principles of housing policy: "This is an important step in creating a modern framework for housing rehabilitation, ensuring its affordability and long-term sustainability."
